I watched it and just loved, mostly because of the Rachel/Joey stuff, of course.
But, anyway, I thought the episode was great. The characters were funny, we had the listeng through the wall thing, which I heart since the first time they did it.
The thing with Monica's corn roles showed Friends isn't all about the couples. Besides, we had the funniest lines regarding that.
The listening through the walls thing was my favorite part. I loved when they did it before. The corn rows thing was pretty funny, too. I'm not a fan of Rachel and Joey though; it's always been Ross and Rachel for me.
They did some special (I think it was on CNN) last Saturday. Did anyone else see it?

See? You're my twin and I don't care what you say. ::looks:: R/R rocks.
Friends had their best seasons up until, like, the seventh. The seventh was really dry, IMO. What do you guys think?
Yeah, the 7th was kinda bad. I really enjoyed the 1st, the 3rd and the 5th. And the 8th, for obvious reasons. The first episode of the 10th was really good, IMO, I'm really looking forward the rest.

If you have curly hair, you've sold me ::looks::
There's just no comparison between what we see now and what we saw through approximately season six (although season 6 did have a few weaker moments: The One That Could Have Been, anybody?). The one episode in season 7 that really made me laugh was the one where Pheobe and Monica are trying to figure out her grandmother's cookie recipe, but that's only because of the miscommunication/French pronunciation thing at the end. But seriously, compare The One Where No One's Ready to The One in Barbados (I think that was last season's finale). There's a huge difference. Now it almost seems forced, stilted. It doesn't make me laugh almost at all.
Carrying some discussion from the OT thread, because it really fits better here

So, yeah. Mmhmm. I've had this debate with some really sad shippers at the Friends thread at F4F and the majority backed R/J or R/R up by saying "because theyre meant 2 be" which annoys the hell out of me.
Heh. I saw some of that debate when I was lurking. To be brutally honest, it made me laugh. I especially enjoyed the people who decided that fanfiction was the best way to back up their point. (If I wanted to prove, say, the inevitability of Abby and Mark getting together now, I could do that and make it work if I used fanfic, right? What the hell does that prove? [insert 'look' smiley here])
For now, I will keep the faith in R/R, confident in the Matt le Blanc interviews where he says he doesn't want Joey and Rachel to end up together.
